  • weekly, one-on-one nutrition coaching proven to create greater weight loss and overall improvement in fitness throughout a 4 week session with us. This optional, private tele-coaching service is free of judgment (whatever you perceive as your "bad" habits, we've been there!) and packed with info that can make an immediate difference toward achieving your goals.

What Days Do We Meet? 

Each Booty Camp session is four weeks long, meeting on the
days listed below unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Where Do We Meet?

Our 1 hour long Bootycamp classes are held early mornings at GREEN LAKE PARK, behind the Community Center building on the east side of the lake. No gyms. No mirrors to judge. Just inspired, effective training in a fresh air environment.

                           

 

 

What Services are Included?

  • four weeks!
  • 16 hours of results driven workouts with personalized, goal oriented instruction
  • weekly, one-on-one fitness nutrition coaching proven to focus your weight loss efforts with greater success (optional free service).
  • optional weekend homework assignments (30-60 minutes each) to keep you moving toward your goals on Saturday and Sunday.
  • regular support from your training coach outside the class environment, via phone and email
  • personal weight and measurement charts to track your progress by-the-numbers in the privacy of your own home.

 

Weekly Nutrition Coaching for Long Term Lifestyle Change

Our optional, one-on-one nutrition coaching service is a supportive companion to our exercise classes to provide you with four goal driven weeks of health and fitness education. This weekly service is included with your four week session. This is a complimentary service for registered participants.

As a Returning Member, continue with Weekly Nutrition Coaching when you sign-up for 3 or more days per week in any of our continuing 4 week sessions. For more info on our Returning Member Drop-in program, click here.

 

What to Bring

To make the most of each class hour, you will need:

  • basic exercise mat
  • towel (to use as prop)
  • 5 to 8 pound weights (2)
  • bottle of water

 

 

 

 

What to Wear?

Winter in Seattle is here! While we don't see much rain in our morning classes during the winter season, temperatures do range widely from 30-45 degrees. Plan ahead to wear comfortable clothes and to dress in layers for optimum comfort during varying morning temperatures. Sturdy supportive shoes made for active sports work well. Trail runners or cross trainers are the best shoe for our program. It is important to give your feet, ankles and stabilizer muscles the support they need. If you've been wearing your shoes 6 months or longer, it may be time to replace them.

 

Helpful Tips:

  • Opt for synthetic or synthetic blend layers for wicking sweat and maintaining warmth.
  • Wear pants that stop at the ankle or above to avoid moisture transfer from dewy grass. 
  • On wet days, avoid cotton, which can become heavy with even a few drops of rain.

*FitCheck Test: Be Sure Before You Sign-Up

While we would love to be a "one size fits all" program, success in our Boot Camp relies on a participants ability to utilize basic physical mobility. This implies continued capability to move from standing exercises to sitting exercises with relative ease and to either walk or run without difficulty (running is optional in our program). Those with serious chronic illness or ongoing physical ailments of the low back or knee joints may not be a good fit for our program. Age is not usually a factor for an effective session with us, but some women over the age of 50 may find our program overwhelming if they have not been experiencing regular exercise. Please use the FitCheck test below as a guide to compatibility, or call us directly at 206-852-4427. 

  1. Are you injury free?
  2. Is your low back free of chronic (daily) pain, spasm and tension?
  3. Are you mentally prepared for a few physical challenges each week; challenges that may take you out of your comfort zone?
  4. Can you walk up 4-6 flights of stairs without stopping for breath?
  5. Can you do 10 push-ups on your knees?
  6. Can you bring your knees up to your chest in a high march for two minutes, arms pumping?
  7. Can you do 40 jumping jacks?
  8. Can you easily bend both knees to touch the floor and come back up, unassisted?
  9. Can you do 30 crunches, knees bent, hands behind neck, raising just your shoulders off the floor?

While Booty Camp sessions are non-refundable, they can be rescheduled at our discretion due to serious illness.
